How do I run a background check on a nanny?

You've finalized hiring your nanny, and what better way to make sure your family is safe than running a background check.

Background checks are included in your PLUS subscription or you can run background check  by going to nannylane.com/background-checks 

Once you've decided to run a background check on candidates, 

1. Go to the conversation with the nanny and scroll up to "Run a Background Check" just click on this feature or you can go here https://www.nannylane.com/dashboard/plus/background-checks-info.
2. Your nanny receives a notification to complete the required information
3. Families receive an email letting you know the status of the background check, Nanny receives the full report of the background check

Most background check results arrive the same day that the nanny provides the information.

Please note that due to security reasons, we only sent the detailed background check results to the nanny.
